There weren’t much updates for PLD Titanium in last few months so probably most of you assumed that my distro is dead. Well, it is not. Just my time is very limited. For same reason new CRI wasn’t released and VServer templates weren’t updated yet. I hope to update all my stuff, but can’t give any dates I’m afraid.
I’ve started with Titanium updates because they’re most important. All kernels will be updated to 2.6.32.x series, X.org server will be updated to 1.7.x, Gnome 2.28 is available for some time now but not finished yet, most of packages will be also updated to their newest possible releases.
I’ve also very bad news for all of you who are using ATI GPU’s – AMD doesn’t seem to care about Linux and their proprietary drivers – they still don’t support new X server. Because of that I’ve decided to move these drivers to unsupported tree. Sorry guys, we must move forward. If AMD wishesh to stay behind we have to let them go and keep buying nVidia GPU’s.
