Foggy Tatras
Yesterday I finally had time to take a little trip. I was shooting mostly with film camera (I bought one with bunch of Rokkor lenses due to some nostalgic thoughts), but managed to use my a700 too
There was nice view of Tatras in fog and clouds. Nothing big, just hazy contours over hills, barely visible except for parts with snow. Image was taken with polarizer and was additionally “defogged” in post processing to show mountains. I’ve intentionally added a bit of blueish color cast and forgot to remove noise
Hope you’ll like it.

Telephoto ZOO
Last summer I’ve visited ZOO in Cracow. Equipped with telephoto lenses I was hoping to get some interesting shots. It was a good lesson to me as I usually don’t shoot animals. Results aren’t as good as I was hoping for, but I’d like to share them anyway.

Vincent the cat
Hello my dear readers! … if anyone is still visiting my site
In this first post in year 2011 I’ll tell you a story of poor cat. Don’t worry, it will have happy ending.
Second week of November 2010 was pretty cold here. It was rainy and temperature at night was falling down to 2-3 degrees celsius. On one day I was awaken by loud meowing and saw cat sitting on my porch. He definitely wanted to get in, but of course I ignored him (there are many cats from neighbourhood visitng our garden) and continued my sleep. Later on the same day same cat was found sleeping in a card box in our garage. We allowed him to stay there for a while hoping that he will eventually go home.
Next day cat was still in garage and didn’t wanted to go anywhere. He got out of the box and was meowing at everyone he saw. Poor guy was very filthy, very skinny and very friendly. At that time we thought that he was lost or that someone threw him away. We feeded him and I started looking for a new home for him.
After two weeks poor guy finally found his new home… my home. I decided to keep him. I took him to the vet, bought him more cat food, cat toys and litter box. Of course every cat needs a name so he got one – Vincent. He is part of our family now and I’m happy that I decided to save him. He is happy too! See for yourself
